External Communications Executive Maternity Cover FTC

Focuses on external communications and talent communications for Flutter International, developing the division's LinkedIn strategy and delivering campaigns that support business priorities and reputation. It supports the Talent and Talent Acquisition teams with activity including careers site content, candidate communications, EVP activation and hiring priorities. The role acts as a key link between the Flutter International comms team, corporate comms, regional internal/external comms, Talent and Talent Acquisition, supporting integrated planning and continuity across activity.

• Own the Flutter International LinkedIn strategy: develop the channel as a platform for divisional storytelling, executive visibility and strategic business narratives, connecting regional and brand stories and showcasing scale and international collaboration.
• Deliver external comms campaigns: create and distribute content that supports business priorities and reputation (e.g. talent mobility, World Cup), ensuring consistent messaging across all external channels.
• Drive talent communications: support the Talent and Talent Acquisition teams with activity for ELP, Edge and Talent Magnets, careers site content, candidate comms, EVP activation and hiring priorities.
• Build partnerships and external engagement: manage relationships with LinkedIn and other partners, and develop strategic opportunities such as university links, employer awards, conferences, panels and careers fairs, while supporting comms for PokerStars and Emerging Markets growth.
• Connect stakeholders across the business: act as the key link between the Flutter International comms team, corporate comms, regional internal/external comms, Talent and Talent Acquisition, supporting integrated planning and continuity across activity.

• Proven external communications experience: a strong track record of creating and delivering content and campaigns across external channels, with excellent writing and storytelling skills.
• Confident senior stakeholder management: experience of working with, influencing and advising senior leaders and executives, building credibility and trust at all levels.
• Experience of translating internal programmes into external stories: the ability to take internal talent initiatives and turn them into compelling external narratives that strengthen employer brand and reputation.
• A collaborative, organised approach: the ability to partner across comms, talent and regional teams, manage multiple priorities, and keep messaging consistent and joined up.

• Comfortable working in a large, global organisation, with experience of navigating complex, matrixed environments and collaborating across regions, brands and teams.
