The role manages a small team, oversees complex ticketing operations within bespoke systems, and acts as the primary point of contact for high-value stakeholders throughout both the planning phase and tournament-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the B2B stakeholder ticket sales programme across all phases, supporting delivery of key commercial objectives.
- Manage and develop two Stakeholder Ticketing Coordinators, contributing to a high-performing ticketing team.
- Prepare clear reporting for Senior Management, including forecasts, sales analysis, and stakeholder insights.
- Oversee all stakeholder payment tracking and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timely issue resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international stakeholders to drive sales outcomes, collaborating with internal teams to foster a positive and integrated working environment.
- Serve as the primary escalation point, delivering professional, solutions-focused customer service.
- Develop and deliver stakeholder communications, guides, training, and event-time support.
- Oversee operations and account management within the Client Ticket Portal, ensuring a seamless stakeholder journey.
- Maintain data accuracy and drive continuous improvements across processes and system functionality, ensuring the Client Ticket Portal remains fully operational and resolving issues swiftly with Ticketmaster and internal teams.
- Support quota management, seat allocations, ticket distribution, and tournament-time operational requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Three years' experience in ticketing operations or large-scale event programmes, with strong knowledge of ticketing systems and technologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build quick rapport with diverse partners and internal teams.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience supporting or managing team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident problem solver who stays calm under pressure and can troubleshoot issues during event and tournament-time operations.
- Comfortable working with data, systems, and financial processes such as payment tracking and reconciliation.
- Collaborative, professional, and adaptable, with the flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and event periods, as required.
- Ability to obtain unlimited working rights in Australia.
Workplace
- Hybrid working arrangement: work from home on Mondays and Fridays with a three-day in-office schedule (Tuesday to Thursday), moving to full-time in-office in 2027 as the tournament approaches.
Benefits & Perks
- Modern office space across from Sydney's Hyde Park, a five-minute walk from Town Hall and surrounded by public transport, cafés, restaurants, and shops.
- Weekly fresh fruit, Lunch & Learns, and a focus on keeping the team feeling their best on and off the field.
- Showers, fresh towels, and Dyson hair tools available so staff can reset and refresh at any time.
- Weekly drinks and social catchups that celebrate wins big and small.
- The chance to play a key role in bringing the third largest sporting event in the world to life in Australia.
