About the Role
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing scalable and robust custom Salesforce solutions that automate and enhance business processes. The role works both independently and as part of a team to build applications, spanning production support, custom development and input into architectural and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Salesforce applications based on business requirements while ensuring best practices are followed.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of all Salesforce releases and features, and implement updates as needed.
- Provide production support and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Build and maintain custom applications and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APIs and other Salesforce technologies.
- Complete all unit testing.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings as needed.
- Follow established coding standards.
- Provide input into architectural and technical decisions.
- Provide input into the strategic direction of the applications.
- Create and contribute to project documentation, including technical design specifications.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience programming Salesforce solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Superior analytical skills, including interpretive and evaluative skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and shift priorities with ease.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding documentation and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise with Lightning Web Components, Salesforce data modelling, security and sharing rules.
- Expertise in configuring and designing Flows.
- Expertise in designing and developing integration solutions using Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience writing batch classes using the Bulk API.
- Experience with enterprise-level applications and architecture.
- Advanced SQL/SOQL.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD scripting.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to quickly gain proficiency in new domains and technical environments.
Preferred Skills
- Platform Developer 1 Certification.
- Platform App Builder Certification.
- Certified Application Architect.
- Familiarity with the entertainment industry.
