Technical Program Manager

The Technical Program Manager drives cross-functional programs from planning through delivery. The role coordinates production delivery, manages change, builds clear roadmaps, manages risks and dependencies, and keeps multiple teams aligned and moving. The successful candidate works closely with data engineering teams and partners with product and business unit stakeholders across the organisation to turn goals into well-structured, successfully delivered outcomes.

• Build roadmaps and drive execution alongside stakeholders and cross-functional partners, keeping delivery on track.
• Coordinate and manage the execution of production deployments end to end, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to track work and keep everyone informed.
• Manage changes, partnering closely with other cross-functional teams to ensure changes are safe, approved, and well executed.
• Lead projects, including environment migrations and end-user deliveries, from kickoff through to successful completion.
• Independently gather the information required, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and keep programs moving.
• Manage risks and dependencies and keep multiple teams aligned and moving.
• Progressively build structure, process, and clarity in areas where workflows are not yet fully defined.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical audiences, both in writing and verbally.

• 2-4 years' experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role, leading cross-functional programs.
• Hands-on experience coordinating production deployments and change management, ideally with Jira and Confluence.
• A track record of delivering projects such as environment migrations and end-user rollouts.
• Strong project and program management skills, including roadmap creation and execution.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and bringing order to them over time.
• A proactive, curious mindset, asking the right questions and continuously improving how things are done.
• Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with genuine motivation to work with data engineering teams.
• Adaptability in dynamic environments and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Experience working directly with data engineering or data platform teams.
• Familiarity with security, legal, or architecture review processes in a technical organisation.
