Technical Program Manager

This role will drive cross-functional programmes from planning through delivery, coordinating production delivery, managing changes, building clear roadmaps, managing risks and dependencies, and keeping multiple teams aligned. It works closely with data engineering teams and partners with product and business unit stakeholders across the organisation to turn goals into well-structured, successfully delivered outcomes. The role operates in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and progressively builds structure, process, and clarity where workflows are not yet fully defined.

• Drive cross-functional programmes from planning through delivery.
• Build roadmaps and drive execution alongside stakeholders and cross-functional partners to keep delivery on track.
• Coordinate and manage execution of production deployments end to end, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to track work and keep stakeholders informed.
• Manage changes in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are safe, approved, and well-executed.
• Lead projects, including environment migrations and end-user deliveries, from kickoff through successful completion.
• Manage risks and dependencies and keep multiple teams aligned and moving.
• Gather information independently, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and keep programmes moving.
• Build structure, process, and clarity progressively in areas where workflows are not yet fully defined.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non-technical audiences, in writing and verbally.

• 2-4 years' experience as a Technical Program Manager (or similar) leading cross-functional programmes.
• Hands-on experience coordinating production deployments and change management.
• A track record of delivering projects such as environment migrations and end-user rollouts.
• Strong project and programme management skills, including roadmap creation and execution.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and bringing order to them over time.
• A proactive, curious mindset, including asking the right questions and continuously improving how things are done.
• Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with genuine motivation to work with data engineering teams.
• Adaptability in dynamic environments and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence for coordinating production deployments and change management.
• Experience working directly with data engineering or data platform teams.
• Familiarity with security, legal, or architecture review processes in a technical organisation.
