Team Lead GBS eCommerce

Leads the end-to-end processes for the Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce channel within Global Business Services (GBS), ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and accuracy of all related activities. It manages team members and creates and maintains sustainable, accurate, and efficient eCommerce processes for entities in Latin America, meeting adidas Group policy requirements. The position acts as the main finance point of contact and subject-matter expert for eCommerce topics, including new initiatives, accounting process creation and review, and audit liaison.

• Lead and manage eCommerce operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end activities, including high-quality transaction analysis and month-end close (MEC) activities.
• Manage the team through coaching, training, motivation, and performance appraisal guidance, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on operational excellence.
• Drive robust partnerships with local markets in Latin America to enhance regional alignment and business performance.
• Ensure documentation of DTP, SOPs, design documents, and volumetric data is up to date and comprehensive to support seamless operations and service delivery.
• Report eCommerce KPIs, ensuring metrics are consistently and accurately met in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors, managing audit processes and ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimisation within the Global Business Services environment.
• Lead problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution design for operational challenges, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
• Provide training to workers, both orally and in writing, on eCommerce accounting systems, principles, and practices; train and develop associates for their roles and broader responsibilities within the company, and support and drive the upskilling of GBS teams.

• Bachelor's or master's degree with emphasis on business, economics, finance, or comparable professional education.
• At least 4/5 years of experience in similar functions.
• Proven work experience in people management or demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team.
• Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and self-directed individual.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and a high degree of customer orientation.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, good team player, and team management skills.
