About the Role
The Fire Guard Level I supports the Fire Department at Warner Bros. Studio Operations, providing as-needed fire protection services for life and property across the Warner Bros. Studio Facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide as-needed fire protection services for life and property at Warner Bros. Studio Facilities.
- Carry out fire protection and suppression duties.
- Conduct fire watches.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited California Firefighter Academy, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid California Driver's Licence.
- Valid Emergency Medical Technician certificate.
- A record of safe driving with at least six months of driving history.
- A valid driver's licence for the state in which the job is located; candidates holding an out-of-state licence should record their out-of-state licence number before applying for an in-state licence, as it is needed to check driving history.
- Physical exertion including running, climbing, bending, lifting, carrying and manoeuvring heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, any shift, and to report for work on short notice.
Preferred Skills
- Qualified Fire Safety Officer.
- A recent (within one year) passing score on the Biddle or California Professional Firefighter (CPAT) physical fitness test, which is highly preferred.
