Studio Security Guard Open House (Swing, Graveyard, and Weekends)

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking on-call Studio Security Guards for its Security department. The role is an on-call, uniformed, unarmed officer who may be assigned to stage areas, office buildings, and other Warner Bros.

• Protect and serve all employees and visitors and safeguard company property.
• Issue visitor passes at studio gates and buildings.
• Conduct vehicle and personal item searches and metal detection.
• Direct and assist visitors and monitor and direct on-lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol and monitor company premises to ensure that only authorised individuals enter.
• Maintain a log of security activities.
• Observe and report unusual and suspect activities.
• Prepare written incident reports.
• May be assigned to studio gates, office buildings, or on- and off-lot events, parties, premieres, screenings, content protection, executive protection, and audience shows on the Main Lot, at the Ranch, other Warner Bros. off-lot facilities, or an off-lot location.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of Security Officer experience in a corporate/office environment.
• Guard Card required.
• Valid California Driver's Licence and a record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, minimum 3 days a week, with one day being Saturday or Sunday.
• Must join the union (Studio Security and Fire Association) and adhere to union requirements and fees.
• May be required to drive occasionally throughout the main lot in Burbank and between facilities using a variety of company-owned vehicles (golf-carts, large SUV, van, pick-up truck, and in some cases motorcycle) based on assignment.
• Travel between facilities may require driving through surface streets and highways.
• Physical exertion is required, such as riding a bike, walking/standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting/manoeuvring items weighing up to 50+ lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
