Sales Trainee

This is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role. The role primarily supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for the Account Sales Manager during vacation, sickness, injury or special projects as needed. The Sales Trainee works with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large and small format off-premise stores, and must service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.

• Support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the Account Sales Manager during vacation, sickness, injury or special projects as needed.
• Work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for all large and small format off-premise stores.
• Service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.
• Understand and learn the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand and products, and build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper rotation and brand flow.
• Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers to increase sales and selling.
• Obtain all tools (insights, displays, Point of Sale, Pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan, and effectively communicate with Account Sales Managers and District Sales Managers on daily priorities.
• Train with Account Sales Managers and cover their routes as needed.
• Meet daily KPIs focused on sales, distributions, pricing, display, new accounts and merchandising.
• Execute the global strategy for in-store execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) and Perfect Store Audit (PSA), and support the team with audits, blitz, building of displays and merchandising to drive the sales business.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid US driver's licence and obtainment of a DOT Medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.

• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus.

• Training programme prepares the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role.
• Upon successful participation in the training programme, the Sales Trainee is eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles.
• Upon completion of the programme and certification, if no Account Sales Manager or otherwise qualified role is available and the Sales Trainee is meeting performance standards, the employee may remain in the Sales Trainee role for up to 12 months or until a qualified role is available, whichever comes first.
• A manager may extend the 12-month completion period by an additional 6 months based on continued high performance, no open roles and certification completion.
