- Turn strategic medical plans into venue run sheets, layouts and timelines for competition and non-competition sites.
- Act as primary liaison to Event Venue Management, integrating International Federation guidelines and NOC/NPC medical requirements.
- Run daily medical services, from athlete medical rooms and spectator first aid to field-of-play response and supplies.
- Coordinate emergency response with local EMS, hospitals and public safety partners, and help draft emergency action plans.
- Keep venues compliant with IOC/IPC medical codes and support adoption of the Games Electronic Medical Record system.
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, emergency medical planning, clinical services management, or venue-based event operations.
- Proven operational experience coordinating medical services for multi-day, large-scale events, including on-venue emergency response.
- Demonstrated operational problem-solving, team co-ordination and detail-oriented project management skills, with sound judgment under competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with clinical tracking or EMR systems.
- Bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field; or 5 years of equivalent experience in healthcare operations or venue medical services.
Preferred Skills

Workplace

- Relocation assistance is not provided; applications are welcomed from candidates based outside the Los Angeles area who are able to work on-site in LA.
- The majority of work is conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods using computers, phones and other office equipment.
- The office has an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Requires the ability to walk, stand and traverse indoor/outdoor venue footprints for extended periods during site visits, test events and Games operations.
