The position sits within the Global Supply Chain team and reports into the Head of Distribution & Logistics Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the roadmap for Logistics Procurement Excellence, ensuring the team has the right tools, processes, and governance to succeed.
- Partner with other Indirect Procurement categories (IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc.) to identify cross-category cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.
- Create and standardise internal logistics procurement policies, SOPs, and reporting to drive continuous visibility and accountability.
- Establish and champion a best-in-class sourcing toolkit, including standardised RFP templates, negotiation playbooks, and contract management standards.
- Act as the business partner for indirect procurement technology (Coupa), driving user adoption and the automation of reporting and business processes.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders from Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure logistics procurement alignment on global goals and compliance.
- Own the logistics procurement KPI dashboard, providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis to give leadership visibility into value creation and project critical paths.
- Act as a change agent, training new and existing team members on logistics procurement tools and maintaining updated training materials.
- Proactively seek business optimisation opportunities to drive sustainable cost savings and build data-driven business cases to support recommendations.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in procurement excellence, category management, or project management in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct operational root-cause analyses to elevate logistics procurement maturity, optimise processes, and build compelling, data-driven business cases.
- Stakeholder management and influence skills, with the ability to quickly establish trust and credibility across diverse global teams and engage executive-level stakeholders with strong business judgment, discretion, and tact.
- Change leadership and resilience, acting as a persistent change agent and navigating organisational shifts with resilience, diplomacy, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Accountability and project delivery, serving as a single source of truth, tracking critical action items, driving data-intensive projects, and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Technical proficiency with modern procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms).
- Expert proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) to work effectively across global and remote teams.
- An energetic, positive, and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for On and its mission.
