Assistant Production Finance Accountant, Prep & Wrap

The Assistant Production Finance Accountant supports the Production Finance Accountant on television productions during prep and post. The role offers the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the entertainment industry while joining a team that is committed to ongoing process improvement and individual development.

• Enter accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, petty cash and pcard transactions.
• Process, research and resolve accounts payable, purchase order and pcard entries, which accounts for approximately 70% of the role.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify procedural inconsistencies and recommend process improvements that keep procedures and data compliant, effective and secure.
• Maintain digital filing as required, accounting for approximately 20% of the role.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned, accounting for approximately 10% of the role.

• Accounting or Business Administration bachelor's degree.
• Experience with PSL, Smart Accounting, related third-party accounting systems and MS Office.
• Experience with digital filing.
• Entertainment industry experience.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, collaborative and team-oriented environment.
