About the Role
This role helps lead critical initiatives for the core infrastructure platform, which sits at the ground level of a broader effort to align various tech teams and acquisitions under one unified technical strategy. The purpose is to enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate a massive product catalog in a consistent and cohesive manner. The role works within the InfraPlat team to lead and implement technical initiatives across projects such as multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, standardised deployments, and a company-wide authentication platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Help lead critical initiatives for the core infrastructure platform.
- Lead and implement technical initiatives for a variety of projects within the InfraPlat team.
- Work on initiatives such as multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, standardised deployments, and the company-wide authentication platform.
- Engage with stakeholders from product engineering teams to scope requests.
- Identify shared pain points within the organisation and prioritise initiatives.
- Enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate the product catalog in a consistent and cohesive manner.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience building software and operating platforms.
- Experience building applications and automations to eliminate toil for engineering teams.
- Understanding of the developer experience and what it takes to magnify the output of engineers across the whole organisation.
- Strong communication skills that enable driving platform adoption forwards for new teams.
- Passion for mentorship and uplevelling the team to maximise their full potential.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing agentic environments and harnessing.
- Experience with Rust in production.
- History of open-source contribution.
- Full stack software development experience with web applications or data pipelines.
