Specialist, Inventory Control/Claims

This role supports the Supply Chain & Sourcing team by improving inventory accuracy, helping 3PL distribution centre operations run smoothly and increasing customer service levels. It manages overall returns and claims by working closely with internal teams and 3PL partners, and verifies monthly 3PL, transportation, customs brokerage and consumables invoices against internal data. The position involves daily troubleshooting, cycle count oversight and reporting to ensure inventory and operational processes remain controlled and accurate.

• Improve inventory accuracy, support 3PL DC operations to run smoothly and increase customer service levels.
• Work with the 3PL DC team on the cycle count plan, ensuring progress and results meet quarterly and yearly plans and targets.
• Ensure physical goods are consistent with system data through daily snapshots, and push related teams to continually improve stock accuracy.
• Provide daily troubleshooting and support to ensure operations run smoothly, including resolving snapshot discrepancies with stakeholders and the system lead through tickets and consistent follow-ups.
• Monitor error/control daily reports accurately and report cycle count results with analysis on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Provide monthly recheck/audit data for strategy execution and analyse inbound/outbound daily operation mistakes, raising suggestions to perfect and optimise processes.
• Take complete responsibility for returns and claims (adicomp and ASIP), working with internal teams on appropriate approvals and with 3PL teams to execute returns and claims within agreed timelines.
• Verify monthly 3PL, transportation, customs brokerage and consumables invoices against internal data, troubleshoot discrepancies and process POs accordingly.
• Ensure timely submission of the Flash report with a high level of accuracy and other assigned reports.
• Prioritise and arrange tasks reasonably when facing multiple tasks, especially special handling and additional support.

• At least 3+ years of relevant working experience.
• Demonstrated mastery of warehouse management systems (MA and LM systems), especially inventory operations.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound processes.
• Familiarity with quality control outlines or methods.

• Experience in the Supply Chain / Logistics industry.
