About the Role
The AI Transformation Manager is responsible for identifying, shaping and delivering AI-enabled transformation initiatives across the business. The role works closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Technology and Operations to turn emerging AI opportunities into practical solutions that drive efficiency, improve customer experiences and deliver measurable business value. The postholder partners with senior leaders on high-profile transformation initiatives and helps unlock new ways of working through emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess opportunities to leverage AI across multiple business functions
- Lead AI transformation initiatives from discovery and business case development through to implementation and adoption
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions
- Manage a portfolio of AI projects, ensuring delivery against objectives, timelines and budgets
- Support the development of AI roadmaps and transformation plans aligned to strategic business goals
- Work alongside Technology and Data teams to ensure AI solutions are scalable, practical and effectively embedded
- Monitor the performance and impact of AI initiatives, driving continuous improvement and value realisation
- Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience delivering large-scale business or digital transformation programmes, including leading complex transformation, technology or business change programmes within a large commercial organisation
- Proven experience managing AI, automation, analytics or technology-enabled change initiatives
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, machine learning and process automation, with practical use cases
- Experience building business cases and prioritising initiatives based on commercial impact
- Experience identifying and delivering measurable business value through technology-led initiatives
- Knowledge of AI governance, risk management and responsible AI principles, including data privacy frameworks
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to drive adoption and embed change across an organisation
