- Maintain and develop knowledge of emerging sponsorship categories, industry trends and applicable industry research such as pricing and inventory in the sale of sponsorship and media assets.
- Develop strong external works, ensuring that FIFA's opportunities and ways of working are well known in the industry to help foster inbound leads.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven track record in international business development and consultative sales, including at least 2 years in sports event marketing, sponsorship sales or a comparable commercial environment.
- Experience in leading, supporting and developing sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in proactively calling, pitching to and negotiating with senior decision-makers at major multinational brands, including closing high-value and multimillion sponsorship contracts.
- A broad and active global network of relationships and contacts across leading brands, agencies and industry sectors.
- University degree in business, sports marketing or related area.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent in Word / PowerPoint / Excel / PDF / MS Teams / Sales CRM tools.
- Ability to travel often and when required.
- Highly professional, articulate and results-driven.
- Strong presenter and excellent relationship building skills.
- Experience in dealing and negotiating within different cultures.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-task position within a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Client oriented, efficient and effective.
- Adept at handling and protecting confidential information.
