Childcare Assistant

This role supports the Family Activities Team in creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive while their parents enjoy the club. It involves building positive relationships with children and families, delivering engaging activities, and helping create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable. The position sits within the Family Activities Team and focuses on the Club V environment.

• Supervise and support children at all times, maintaining close awareness of their safety and wellbeing.
• Ensure the Club V environment is safe, attractive and welcoming for all children.
• Deliver engaging activities that help children learn, play and thrive.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, parents and caregivers.
• Help create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.
• Adhere to all company and government policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively within the Family Activities Team to support colleagues and members.

• Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in a child-related field.
• Previous experience working with children.
• A Health and Social Care qualification does not cover the required qualification.
• Friendly, calm and approachable nature.
• Ability to act quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team and inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to support both staff and members.
• Ability to build effective relationships with parents and caregivers.

• Part-time, 20 hours per week.
