Job description
About the Role
Sportradar is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Prediction Markets & US Sports Data to join its Live Data Unit in the United States. The role owns the continued development, growth, and commercial success of Sportradar's Prediction Market Feed, a low-latency sports data proposition for prediction markets, market makers, and other latency-sensitive clients. The product focuses on delivering market-moving sports events with ultra-low latency, supported by purpose-built data collection and distribution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercial growth for the Prediction Market Feed, from development through scalable adoption and continuous improvement.
- Develop a deep understanding of prediction markets, market makers, and other latency-sensitive customers, and identify which sports, competitions, events, and product capabilities create the greatest value, translating their needs into clear product priorities.
- Define and continuously improve product KPIs covering latency, data quality, reliability, customer adoption, and commercial impact.
- Work hands-on with engineering and operations teams to understand product behaviour, analyse data flows, troubleshoot issues, and support root-cause analysis.
- Use AI tools and rapid prototyping to accelerate discovery, analysis, decision-making, and product delivery.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear product narratives and value propositions for customers, commercial teams, and senior leadership.
- Partner with US sports leagues, federations, and internal stakeholders to support data cooperation, product development, growth opportunities, and broader US sports data product and technology needs.
- Coordinate across Live Data, engineering, AI, operations, QA, commercial, and go-to-market teams to ensure successful product launches and customer onboarding.
- Explore new opportunities across ultra-low-latency sports data, predictive events, sports-specific data collection, and AI-powered sports products, and build compelling business cases for product investment and prioritisation.
- Maintain direct contact with customers, bringing their feedback into the roadmap while balancing individual needs with building a scalable product, and champion high standards for product quality, ownership, execution, and continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience owning and scaling technology products.
- Deep familiarity with the US sports ecosystem, including major sports, competition structures, and how live sports events and data translate into betting, prediction markets, trading, and customer value.
- AI-native mindset, with AI as a natural part of how you approach discovery, analysis, research, prototyping, and everyday product work.
- Strong commercial product instincts, with experience translating customer problems into scalable products rather than building one-off solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to define meaningful KPIs, interpret data, and turn insights into clear product decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, commercial functions, senior leadership, customers, leagues, and organisations.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset, comfortable moving between long-term product strategy and solving immediate customer or technical problems.
- Comfortable operating in a global environment and collaborating across US and European teams and time zones.
- Curious, ambitious, and eager to continuously learn in a fast-moving market.
- Passionate about sports, technology, data, and building products that make a measurable difference for customers.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sports data, sports betting, prediction markets, or trading technology products.
- Experience with APIs, SQL, data visualisation, real-time event processing, sports trading, predictive analytics, or machine-learning products.
Workplace
- Role based in-office in New York or Las Vegas.
- Office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office three days a week.
- The company values in-person work for stronger connections, collaboration, and innovation, while appreciating the flexibility and benefits of working from home.
- Collaborative, international environment with collaboration across US and European teams and time zones.
Benefits & Perks
- A central product role in one of Sportradar's most strategically important emerging product areas.
- The opportunity to shape the future of real-time sports data for prediction markets and market makers.
- Significant ownership of a product where speed, data quality, technology, and customer value directly determine success.
- Direct exposure to customers operating at the intersection of sports, technology, and trading.
- The opportunity to influence not only Prediction Markets, but also the broader direction and growth of Sportradar's US sports data products.
- Close collaboration with experienced product, AI, engineering, operations, and commercial teams across the US and Europe.
- The opportunity to work closely with leading US sports leagues and organisations, including the NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS, while shaping products built around low-latency data distribution, purpose-built data collection, and emerging AI technologies.
- A high level of ownership, visibility, and influence over product strategy and execution.
- A collaborative, international environment with the role based in-office in New York or Las Vegas.
