Job description
About the Role
Involves designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform, and supporting existing implementations. The developer delivers moderate-complexity features across the Software Development Lifecycle, collaborates with team members and other developers, and maintains technical documentation. The position sits within Entain India, the technology powerhouse supporting Entain's sports and gaming products and experiences used by customers globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow processes and applications.
- Support existing ServiceNow implementations and troubleshoot platform issues.
- Deliver moderate-complexity features throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and solve business problems.
- Work with other developers to implement new features and integrations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow platform updates and technology trends.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical/technical training.
- 1–3 years of software development or platform configuration experience, including internships or academic projects.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, including objects, arrays, functions, scope, asynchronous patterns and JSON.
- Familiarity with relational databases, including tables, keys, joins and basic queries.
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, REST APIs, HTML and CSS.
- Exposure to Git and ticketing tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document work clearly.
- Ability to work within structured processes, including audit controls and change management.
