About the Role
This role sits within the Nike Territory team and requires an analytical problem solver, flexible thinker, and strong communicator who connects commercial needs into multi-seasonal plans. It establishes clear end-to-end bottom-up franchise plans for a portfolio of accounts, partnering with Integrated Portfolio Teams, Sports Assortment Planning, and Business Planning to create seasonal plans grounded in revenue, inventory, profitability, productivity, margin, and consumer centricity. The planner works closely with Commercial and Planning teams for Sport and Territory Partners, as well as Finance, Merchandising, Central/GEO BP & AP, MSC, Insights & Analytics, Partner Management, and S&IM.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish clear end-to-end bottom-up franchise plans for a portfolio of accounts and shape/contribute to season 1-4 Assortment Plan for Sport x Territory, including management of R&O, partnering with Integrated Portfolio Teams, Sports AP, and BP.
- Co-create and influence seasonal plans—including RSV, RSU, net sales, margin, receipts, and inventory by Franchise/App—using consistent business logic and analytics in partnership with Sport AP.
- Develop strategies to achieve Win Now objectives and own product-driven OTB forecasts to guide manufacturing and in-season optimisation.
- Manage plans through to in-season optimisation and delivery of commercial targets through a robust rolling forecast process and collaborative weekly offence with Integrated Portfolio Teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Review performance against plan and forecast weekly/monthly, assess risks and opportunities, and create action plans, escalating when needed.
- Monitor top Franchise stock and sales plans, contribute to cross-marketplace decisions, and inform trading and pricing strategies to capture consumer demand.
- Oversee end-to-end inventory for assigned Sport(s) and MPU(s), understanding its impact on overall marketplace health.
- Advocate the Assortment Plan to Partner Management and cross-functional leadership, aligning sell-in with strategy and marketplace role.
- Provide insights that shape Territory plans aligned with consumer-right capacity and business strategy, collaborate with Business Planning, Finance, and marketplace teams, and contribute to Territory and Sport multi-year strategies.
- Work with Central AP to deliver portfolio insights for reporting, franchise health monitoring, seasonal templates, and competitive analysis, and drive day-to-day projects independently while managing workload across multiple workstreams and practising best-in-class storytelling and communication.
