Specialist - Talent Sourcer (12 months Maternity Cover)

This fixed-term maternity-cover role sits within a global Talent Acquisition team and focuses on driving proactive sourcing to identify, engage and pipeline passive talent across critical business functions. The role is intended to maintain hiring momentum and support high-priority searches with diverse, top-tier candidate pipelines. The post-holder partners with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, maps market landscapes and turns passive prospects into engaged candidates while ensuring a world-class candidate journey throughout the contract.

• Conduct in-depth research, competitive market mapping and talent landscape analysis to uncover passive talent across specialised domains.
• Leverage Boolean logic, talent intelligence platforms (e.g., Eightfold, LinkedIn Recruiter), GitHub, niche communities and social networks to build robust candidate shortlists.
• Craft authentic, highly personalised multi-touch messaging campaigns that bring the employer value proposition to life and achieve strong response rates.
• Lead introductory exploratory chats to evaluate candidate motivations, core competencies, values alignment and role expectations.
• Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers during intake and calibration sessions, sharing data-backed talent availability insights to refine search profiles.
• Proactively advocate inclusive sourcing strategies while maintaining pristine pipeline hygiene across ATS and CRM platforms.

• Dedicated talent sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on proactive outbound sourcing (in-house, high-growth, or agency).
• Proven ability to hit the ground running, rapidly grasp new business verticals and deliver qualified pipelines with minimal onboarding lead time.
• Proficiency in advanced Boolean search, candidate identification techniques, talent intelligence software and modern recruitment platforms.
• Natural flair for candidate engagement with superior written and verbal communication skills that resonate with passive candidates.
• A self-starter mindset comfortable adapting to changing business needs, dynamic sprint priorities and cross-functional collaboration.
