Software Engineer

The Software Engineer develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems to meet defined digital product specifications and direction. The role focuses on building robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, scalable applications, and data-driven decision platforms. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and contributes to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools.

• Develop, code/configure, and test programs and systems to meet defined digital product specifications and direction.
• Develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business.
• Help design and build scalable software solutions, make critical technical design choices, implement and integrate new technologies, and manage and evolve existing platforms.
• Design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimization programs to deliver data-driven decisions with business impact.
• Assess well-defined problems and lead the development of technical solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Contribute to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools to enable prediction and optimization model development.
• Solve machine learning problems at scale.
• Develop products focused primarily on consumer data that meet global expectations of security, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or an engineer-related occupation.
• Experience with Data Engineering, Data Platform, and Analytics solutions using Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay and Procurement platforms such as Coupa.
• Experience with business rules management, workflow automation, and business process orchestration using enterprise BPM platforms such as Pega.
• Experience with finance procure-to-pay (P2P) business processes, including sourcing, purchasing, invoicing, and vendor management.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations between SAP ERP and finance-related SaaS solutions using APIs and middleware technologies.
• Experience with application integration and middleware technologies such as Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Experience with event streaming and messaging using Apache Kafka.
• Experience with data orchestration and flow management using Apache NiFi.
• Experience with enterprise application development using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Node.js, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and RESTful service architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native, microservice-based application development and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including API-first architecture.
• Experience with containerized application design and development using Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with application observability, monitoring, and alerting using Splunk, SignalFx, and Amazon CloudWatch.
