Senior Manager, Bras & Leggings Apparel Product Design

The Senior Design Manager for Bras and Leggings leads innovation and style across Nike's Bras and Leggings product lines. The role is part of the design engineering and Inline team, managing a team of designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Advanced Manufacturing, Materials, Sustainability, Nike Sports Research Lab, Digital, and the Business. The position focuses on bringing innovation and style together, using athlete insights and research to create competitive advantages and shape the future of Bras and Leggings.

• Lead innovation and style across Bras and Leggings and manage a team of designers
• Lead and collaborate to set the create vision and help strengthen and shape the collective as a positive force of curiosity by engaging and inspiring Design peers
• Collaborate with portfolio leads, concept creators, engineers, developers, and leadership
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams including Advanced Manufacturing, Materials, Sustainability, Nike Sports Research Lab (NSRL), Digital, and the Business
• Engage with athletes and collaborate with external vendors and factory partners
• Use performance and cultural insights from athletes and NSRL to identify growth opportunities and create competitive advantages
• Develop and present concepts to various internal and external audiences, sharing vision, gathering feedback, aligning and building momentum
• Champion and influence new ways of strategic thinking, research, and visioning for product innovation and design
• Manage a small team, including setting team and individual goals, development, performance management, recognition and rewards

• Minimum of 8 years' product creation (Design and/or Business) experience and knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Design; any suitable combination of education, experience, and training is accepted
• Well-curated portfolio showcasing a variety of projects demonstrating a strong, effective methodology for research, inspiration, design development, problem solving and final execution
• Expert in bra pad engineering innovation, future methods of make and leading fit sessions
• Experience in bra manufacturing and development
• A track record of world-class commercialized Bras and Leggings products and innovations transitioned to downstream partners
• Advanced project management skills, proactively partnering to facilitate effective meetings and manage key design dates and deliverables with project stakeholders
• Experience leading teams on projects with challenging briefs and through ambiguity to successful completion
• Experience prioritizing workload across short-term and long-range projects with varying levels of complexity
• Experience building design vision and upholding design and strategic direction end-to-end to ensure the product vision remains accurate and consistent
• Expert knowledge of the Bras and Leggings market, trend and consumer
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Ai rendering software, Vizcom
