Technology Consultant

The Technology Consultant drives the design, configuration and optimisation of software solutions and systems that enable the business to move faster and smarter. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong advisory capability, translating business needs into scalable, high-impact solutions across the adidas technology landscape. The position sits within Brand & Creation Technologies in the Technology (TECH) team and works closely with product owners, product designers, developers, product managers, subject matter experts, product design and creation leadership, and external technology partners.

• Identify operational needs, pain points and improvement opportunities, shaping recommendations for both automated and non-automated process changes.
• Lead scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation for smaller change initiatives while contributing to more complex transformation efforts.
• Capture, structure and document detailed requirements using agreed standards and proven techniques, and support the definition of acceptance criteria and validation approaches for proposed solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to constructively test assumptions and strengthen clarity, feasibility and business impact.
• Prioritise requirements, maintain clear traceability back to source and business value, and review them thoroughly to identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining a strong requirements baseline, and evaluate and manage approved changes to baselined requirements in line with change management standards.
• Support the configuration of software and equipment, as well as the testing of platform-specific software versions across one or more products.
• Document defects, implement fixes and retest solutions to meet agreed quality standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve application issues in line with agreed support processes, and use application management tools to monitor performance and gather meaningful operational insights.
• Execute agreed application maintenance activities to ensure stable, reliable service delivery, and support the creation of development roadmaps and business cases that drive informed decisions.

• Demonstrated experience as a Technology Analyst or Consultant in complex enterprise environments spanning multiple domains and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they map into technical processes and platforms.
• Strong understanding of data and asset-centric platforms, such as Digital Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS and their role in modern pipeline design, including AI-enabled services.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and evaluating AI-enabled solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI services with enterprise platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
• Ability to contribute relevant insights in discovery, assessment and solution design workshops.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value and compelling narratives.

• Experience in product-centric, creative or design-driven environments is a strong plus.
• A background in consumer goods or digital product development is beneficial.
