About the Role
The Sports Scheduling Planner sits within a central Ops team that keeps the business running smoothly, empowering teams to focus on driving the business forward. The role is at the heart of live sports operations, ensuring the in-play schedule is competitive and client-focused. It blends strategic planning, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-value sports content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the in-play schedule remains competitive and client-focused.
- Curate engaging fixtures to deliver high-value sports content across multiple platforms.
- Use strategic planning, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to support live sports operations.
- Maintain operational excellence within live sports scheduling.
- Help elevate the client experience and strengthen market position.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain expert knowledge of live scheduling procedures.
- Provide insightful reports to support decision-making and performance.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Confident using MS Office, especially Excel and Word, and Power BI or another data analytics tool.
- Clear, effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to shifting priorities and schedules.
- High accuracy in scheduling, reporting and data handling.
- Comfort working as both a team player and an independent worker.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
- Positive, proactive and committed attitude to delivering quality results.
