The Power of Swimming

About Level Water
Level Water exists to give children with disabilities the opportunity to learn to swim. Swimming for children with disabilities is the biggest unmet need in sport, and we work to close that gap.

Swimming lessons are at the heart of what we do. The water takes your weight — it's a true leveller. It relieves pain and offers freedom and independence that many of our children never experience elsewhere.

Our swimmers learn strength, mobility and coordination, which help with physicality out of the water too. They develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem, which can change their path in life. They learn to be strong and confident swimmers.

All of this is powered by fundraisers taking on epic outdoor swimming events, from river swims and wild swim relays to Chillswim, Scilly Swim, Dock2Dock and Marathon Swims. Supporters can also volunteer with us, train for an event, fundraise for us, or partner with us through our Impact Pools programme.
