About the Role
The Senior HR Operations Analyst serves as a trusted operational partner, using data, systems and processes to support organisational design and Talent transformation across a dynamic portfolio of projects. The role partners closely with Human Resources Business Partners and collaborates with Organisational Development, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Human Resources Operations and teams across the enterprise. The analyst provides hands-on data, systems and operational support that helps move organisational and Talent transformations from design through execution, while also strengthening consistency, knowledge sharing and ways of working across the Human Resources Data Specialist team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Human Resources Business Partners during live organisational design and Talent sessions by interpreting complex discussions, translating decisions into accurate Orgvue actions and asking clarifying questions when direction is unclear.
- Manage organisational data and change control throughout transformation projects, maintaining accuracy as structures, roles and Talent decisions evolve.
- Identify and flag potential data, process or organisational design inconsistencies, including alignment with established approaches such as spans and layers, while keeping decision ownership with Human Resources and business leaders.
- Produce timely reporting and analysis for Human Resources Business Partners and Talent Management, including organisational design and Talent-assignment progress, and help translate reporting needs into useful outputs.
- Use Orgvue as the primary platform for organisational design work, with Excel and Workday data as supporting tools for analysis, validation and reporting.
- Move across projects and business areas as priorities shift, partnering with Organisational Development, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Human Resources Operations and enterprise teams.
- Serve as a go-to resource for Human Resources Data Specialists by training and upskilling team members, sharing updates and helping establish consistent ways of working across the specialist team.
- Build trusted partnerships through responsive, professional support and clear communication, especially when working with senior Human Resources stakeholders in fast-moving transformation sessions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, including experience supporting Human Resources, Talent, organisational design or workforce transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Orgvue for organisational design, including working with organisational data, supporting live design sessions and producing reporting or analysis.
- Strong data and systems mindset, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to understand how Human Resources data, processes and systems connect.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence and judgement to ask clarifying questions, flag potential issues and translate complex discussions into clear actions for business and technical partners.
- Brings clarity, confidence and sound judgement to complex work, and is professional, adaptable and detail-oriented.
- Combines Human Resources data and systems expertise with strong analytical, consulting and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Orgvue and Excel.
- Can interpret complex organisational and Talent discussions in real time and translate evolving business needs into accurate system actions, reporting and follow-through.
- Communicates effectively with senior Human Resources partners, asks thoughtful questions, flags risks or inconsistencies and keeps work moving while respecting that organisational design decisions remain with the business.
- Comfortable shifting across projects and functional areas, and helps others work consistently and effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Workday data is helpful.
