Job description
About the Role
The Regulatory Fraud and Risk Specialist works within the Fraud and Risk team at Entain, where the team's overarching remit is fraud detection and prevention. The role involves reviewing fraud and risk triggers, requesting and reviewing EDD, handling KYC, and ensuring that all relevant regulatory, fraud and GDPR requirements are strictly followed. The specialist provides fraud, risk and KYC expertise to other teams, including AFC and CDD within Player Protection, and liaises with players on account-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, fraud and GDPR requirements across all markets
- Provide fraud, risk and KYC expertise to all teams, including AFC and CDD within Player Protection
- Participate in SENs creation when translation and document clarification are needed
- Handle customer documents as part of the KYC and/or EDD risk prevention flow
- Provide expertise and collect examples for the Documents Library
- Perform overall review of accounts as part of registrations, deposit and withdrawal approval, and/or fraud prevention procedures
- Analyse customer deposits and account categories to prevent fraud, correct errors and resolve problems
- Suggest improvements to procedures and systems in the interests of fraud prevention and customer care
- Investigate financial irregularities on accounts and risk issues relating to third party processors
- Work with colleagues in other departments to resolve account-related issues and prevent fraud
- Help maintain quality control and customer care through analysis of player contact
- Check gaming history
- Liaise with players on account-related issues, resolving problems and ensuring high levels of customer care
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of the different aspects of risk work, including online payments or financial services knowledge
- Ability to identify subtle fraud and abuse patterns
- Sound and demonstrable experience with fraud analysis and investigations
- Fluent in English and Portuguese at a business level
- Self-motivation
- Ability to perform well under tight deadlines within a dynamic environment
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools
- Proven aptitude to work in a team
- Strong logical reasoning skills with an analytical approach
Preferred Skills
- Command of another language is a plus
