Set Watch Security (Swing, Graveyard, and Weekends)

The Set Watch (Security) role is an on-call, uniformed, unarmed security position within the Security department. The officer may be assigned to stage areas, office buildings, and other on- and off-lot facilities and events. The role protects employees and visitors, safeguards company property, and supports security operations across studio gates, buildings, events, and productions.

• Protect and serve all employees and visitors and safeguard Company property.
• May be assigned to studio gates, office buildings, or on- and off-lot events, parties, premieres, screenings, Content Protection, Executive Protection, and Audience shows on the Main Lot, at the Ranch, other off-lot facilities, or an off-lot location.
• Issue visitor passes at studio gates and buildings, direct and assist visitors, and monitor and direct on-lot pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Conduct vehicle and personal item searches and metal detections.
• Patrol and monitor Company premises to ensure only authorised individuals enter.
• Maintain a log of security activities.
• Provide protection of equipment and props.
• Observe and report unusual and suspect activities and prepare written incident reports.
• May drive occasionally throughout the main lot in Burbank and between facilities using company-owned vehicles such as golf-carts, large SUVs, vans, and pick-up trucks, based on assignment; travel between facilities may require driving through surface streets and highways.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must have a valid California Driver's Licence and a record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history.
• Must join the union (Studio Security and Fire Association) and adhere to union requirements and fees.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required.
• Must be able to ride a bike, stand for long periods, run, lift and manoeuvre heavyweights (up to 50+ lbs.), and work indoors and outdoors in year-round weather conditions.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule; security operations are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• A valid California driver's licence is required; applicants with an out-of-state licence must record their out-of-state licence number before applying for an in-state licence, as it is needed to check driving history.
• Employment is contingent on passing a company background check and obtaining a CA Guard Card after required training.

• A minimum of 1 year of security or customer service experience is preferred.

• On and off lot facilities and events, including the Main Lot and the Ranch.

• Pay Rate: $19.88 per hour.
