Dining & Service Attendant (Part-Time)

Supports dining room operations, concessions, catering functions, on-field snack breaks, and staff breakrooms across the Jackie Robinson Training Complex's events and programmes. It sits within the Dining Services & Hospitality Department and focuses on ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient service in a clean and welcoming environment. The attendant replenishes food and beverage products, maintains service areas, and assists with basic cash handling and inventory tasks to support a high-quality dining experience.

• Greet and serve guests in dining, concessions, catering, and breakroom areas in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and banquet/event service standards, ensuring consistent portion control and presentation of food and beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns promptly, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Set up, restock, and maintain food and beverage stations across dining, concessions, and hospitality areas, and assist with concessions bar service and breakroom stocking as directed.
• Support cash handling functions, including preparing opening funds, processing transactions, and reconciling Point of Sale sales at shift close in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate communication with kitchen staff, management, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service.
• Clean and sanitise service areas, workstations, and equipment before, during, and after service, and ensure proper storage and labelling of food and beverage items.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies, including verifying guest identification where required, and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Partner with kitchen and management teams to support meal service, catering functions, and on-field snack breaks, and assist with basic inventory counts and reconciliation processes as assigned.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Food & Beverage leadership team.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid food handler certification.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior guest service or food service experience.
