Spring 2027 - Intern, Social Media Graphic Design

Supports the Social Media team by designing content for client coverage across Excel social divisions, helping to ensure full coverage of the roster. It sits within a paid, hybrid internship programme that combines in-office experience with learning across Excel's divisions. Interns work with a specific division while having opportunities to learn about other areas through lunch and learns.

• Assist the Social Media team with designing content for client coverage across Excel social divisions to ensure full coverage of the roster.
• Support other duties as assigned.
• Learn and apply the C.A.R.E. principles of consistency, authenticity, relevance and engagement.
• Learn the design process for content to be published for approved stories and posts.
• Develop skills to identify social media design trends and opportunities.
• Develop skills to design social media-specific graphics.
• May occasionally be assigned projects outside the Social Media/Communications group to gain exposure to other divisions within Excel.

• Available to work under 30 hours per week, specifically 24–29.9 hours per week during the session.
• Available to report to the New York office approximately 3 days a week.
• Senior standing in college (must have completed junior year of undergraduate study), OR enrolled in graduate school, OR hold a bachelor's or postgraduate degree.
• Proficiency and experience in Adobe Photoshop.
• Provide a creative portfolio.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and consistency.
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

• Hybrid programme with approximately three days a week of in-office experience.
• Office hours are 9:00 am–6:00 pm ET, Monday–Friday, or as agreed with adviser; in-office days must be coordinated with adviser schedules.
• Interns are responsible for their own transportation and housing.
• The Spring programme runs from Monday, 11 January 2027 through Thursday, 6 May 2027.
