Senior Director, Procurement

The Senior Director, Procurement shapes the future of DraftKings' procurement strategy, leading a high-performing team and driving strategic sourcing and category management across the business. The role partners with executive leaders to strengthen supplier relationships, lead high-impact negotiations, and unlock opportunities that deliver measurable business value. Through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and emerging technologies, the role advances procurement capabilities, manages risk, and positions Procurement as a strategic partner supporting the company's continued growth.

• Lead and develop a high-performing Procurement Team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen capabilities and drive results.
• Own the enterprise-wide procurement strategy, category management approach, and sourcing roadmap, aligning priorities with long-term business objectives.
• Partner with executive and senior leaders to shape sourcing decisions, identify opportunities, and align procurement strategies with business priorities.
• Develop and execute category strategies that optimise supplier relationships, deliver measurable value, and mitigate commercial and operational risks.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, high-value commercial negotiations, and strategic supplier partnerships to achieve strong business outcomes.
• Use financial analysis, market intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools to uncover opportunities, inform decisions, and improve procurement performance.
• Establish supplier governance, performance management, and risk mitigation frameworks that strengthen accountability and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion procurement transformation by improving processes, advancing technology adoption, and strengthening collaboration across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, supplier management, or a related commercial function.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Deep expertise in enterprise-wide procurement strategy, category management, complex commercial negotiations, and strategic supplier relationship management.
• A track record of developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver measurable financial value, improve operational performance, and mitigate risk.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior leadership, build trusted partnerships, and drive alignment across diverse business functions.
• Advanced financial and analytical acumen, with experience using market intelligence, AI, automation, and procurement technologies to inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional communication, organisational leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and drive meaningful change.

• Experience in sports betting, iGaming, fantasy sports, technology, financial services, or other regulated industries.

• As a regulated gaming company, the successful candidate may be required to obtain a gaming licence issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment; the company guides employees through the process where relevant.
