Sr. Product Manager, Financial Solutions (Order to Cash)

This role supports the team and key stakeholders across multiple Order to Cash applications and business processes, improving business processes and aligning key metrics. It acts as the interface between business needs and functional capabilities, enabling teams to deliver solutions within appropriate resource constraints, and requires a high level of expertise in SAP systems together with a deep understanding of finance and sales processes. The position combines managing programme engagements through to completion with maintaining daily business operations, and calls for innovative ways to execute and optimise operational tasks.

• Serve as the functional lead for the respective system modules of significant scope and complexity, and contribute to complementary modules that directly impact the business track.
• Manage projects and provide oversight of new system launches, new functionality and enhancements impacting the Order to Cash process, including design, configuration, test scenario and script creation, testing, related execution and adoption of components.
• Direct defect resolution and enhancement technical development, and set related priorities for third-party partners supporting the OTC process.
• Communicate project timelines, key performance indicators and status to OTC leadership groups.
• Develop comprehensive performance analysis of business processes and review ways of improving them.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives planned.
• Represent the functional area on cross-functional execution teams needed to ensure OTC systems strategy and project work completion, and recommend long-term solutions in accordance with an understanding of business needs and the strategic success of the organisation.
• Engage other technical subject matter experts across the enterprise to solicit input, feedback, perspective and, as appropriate, assistance.
• Analyse business needs and requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and gather and document business requirements through interviews, surveys and other methods.
• Develop and maintain business cases, cost-benefit analysis and requirements documentation, including use cases, user stories and functional specifications.
• Identify and prioritise requirements, develop a project plan to meet them, and identify, report and resolve stakeholder issues and concerns while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Participate in design sessions with the development team and help in the design of software, conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept development, and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing, and develop and maintain documentation for applications, including user manuals and functional specifications.

• 2+ years of prior experience in a related field.
• 11-15 years of extensive experience in managing Order to Cash processes in a large and complex environment.
• Strong understanding of the Order to Cash process.
• Working experience of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and miscellaneous Accounts Receivable, RAR and FI (Financial Accounting) modules.
• Experience in customer MDM, external billing and revenue interfaces, e-invoicing solutions and reporting.
• 2-4 years of transactional processing and operations assurance experience.
• Undergraduate degree required in computer science, mathematics or business sciences.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing financial models in Excel and facilitating business discussions.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings and worksheets.
• A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative, with the ability to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

• MBA or graduate degree in computer science, mathematics or business sciences.
• SAP certification in SD and/or FI modules.
• Postgraduate work experience in a related field (entertainment or entertainment).
• Knowledge of and passion for the media, entertainment and technology industries, including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models and industry structure.
• Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services.
• Experience working in a national or global company.
• Visualisation tool knowledge, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Comfortable working in a highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment.
