Merchandising Manager

The Merchandising Manager leads and manages a team of Merchandisers responsible for in-store execution, including merchandising product to shelves, displays, and cold equipment in large format stores. The role also involves coaching and developing the team and managing labour hours within a set budget. The manager works collaboratively across the organisation, builds a diverse team that reflects the marketplace, and ensures adherence to company standards and operating procedures.

• Manage and lead a group of Merchandisers accountable for in-store execution through merchandising product to shelves, displays, and cold equipment in large format stores.
• Coach and develop the respective merchandising teams.
• Manage labour hours within a set budget.
• Establish set merchandising routes for each employee to follow weekly.
• Establish and maintain regular and ongoing communications with retail partners and decision makers to implement national and local programming.
• Ensure three route rides are completed per week to train, develop, and evaluate Merchandiser performance and executional conditions in their markets.
• Conduct bimonthly Merchandiser meetings and workshops in groups and one-to-one sessions to improve executional expertise and recognise and reward results.
• Work collaboratively across the organisation, share best practices, and act as a major contributor and leader among peers.
• Build a diverse organisation that reflects the marketplace and inspire the team through effective leadership in line with Red Bull's values.
• Ensure the Merchandising team understands and adheres to company standards and operating procedures.

• 3+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.
• Experience managing a team of sales and/or merchandising employees.
• Valid US driver's licence and obtainment of a DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• English proficiency.

• Additional languages are an advantage.
