Job description
About the Role
Sits within the Media group and supports Sportradar's Broadcast clients and internal stakeholders with their day-to-day needs. It combines elements of solution consulting and design, relationship management, and product expertise to ensure clients can effectively use and derive value from Sportradar's broadcast products. The Technical Success team works closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical consultation, and resolve issues, while also collaborating with internal groups to ensure client needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales and Client Success groups during the sales process with product consultancy and pre-sale solutions advocacy.
- Assist with the technical aspects of post-sale product set-up, particularly curated integrations required by clients.
- Apply project management skills to complex, multi-faceted client launches that require solution design and coordination between multiple stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, or triage technical challenges reactively when the Support team requires additional resources or asks for help.
- Monitor tech-focused client health metrics proactively to identify potential problems with clients' product implementations before they arise.
- Act as a liaison between clients, support team members, and product teams, communicating in both product jargon and non-technical language and translating between the two.
- Become a bridge between support and product by delving into products, sometimes looking “under the hood”, working closely with Product team members, and pushing knowledge both ways.
- Equip the Client Success team with the tools and knowledge to use or troubleshoot products independently without running into technical barriers.
- Provide consultative recommendations on how clients can best utilise their current product offering.
- Become an expert on clients' businesses to provide insights on additional or new Sportradar products that could help their business grow.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Some experience and understanding of the broadcast landscape, gained through broadcast production, another SaaS company, a media property, or other relevant roles.
- Creative and proactive problem-solving skillset.
- Highly organised with top-tier communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Good technical knowledge of media and broadcast industries' standard practices for using and implementing data feeds, APIs, and graphics.
- First-class written and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner with other team members to resolve issues and identify patterns for client technical requests.
- Ability to excel at managing multiple projects and types of work.
- Independence, proactivity, and comfort working with occasional ambiguity.
- Interest in and understanding of sports, especially how sports data is used within the broadcast ecosystem.
- Ability to communicate in product jargon and non-technical language and translate between the two.
- Strong project management skills.
