Manager, Betting Control Centre (Operations and Optimisation)

Sits within the BOCC (Operation and Optimizations) Team and reports to the Senior Manager, Betting Control Centre (Operations). The job holder is responsible for managing the daily operations of Operation and Optimizations on a 7x24 basis, monitoring the healthiness of the wagering digital platform, the stability of funds transfer services, and the deliverability of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes that increase checking efficiency. The role involves facilitating Digital Services in executing daily wagering operations, collaborating with IT and business units on digital wagering initiatives, and ensuring compliance with responsible gambling and legal requirements.

• Manage the daily operations of Operation and Optimizations on a 7x24 basis, monitoring wagering digital platform healthiness, funds transfer services stability, and the deliverability of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes that increase checking efficiency.
• Facilitate Digital Services to execute daily wagering operations of digital platforms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of service requests while strictly adhering to SOPs.
• Assess identified system abnormalities with appropriate customer impact and collaborate with relevant teams, including incident management, to resolve them effectively; facilitate the Digital Services team in conducting hygiene checks.
• Collaborate with IT and Business Units on the implementation of new digital wagering initiatives and system enhancements, conduct system operation familiarisation, and identify process and control requirements to support management evaluation and implementation readiness.
• Review and enhance daily operational and LCT checklists to incorporate new or enhanced digital wagering services, ensuring critical operational stages and control points are appropriately monitored and validated.
• Implement identified operation processes to streamline operations via RPA or other appropriate technologies as an RPA specialist, monitoring progress and reporting results regularly.
• Assist the Senior Manager in establishing operational dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational performance from wagering and incident management perspectives, and collaborate with IT to migrate the current channel-focused dashboard to a new technology platform.
• Monitor supporting staff to ensure smooth operations, manage and supervise a team of part-time staff providing daily operations, and support team talent development through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Assist the Line Manager in managing internal processes and capex/opex budgets, and contribute to financial planning and resource management to ensure effective operations within budgetary constraints.
• Ensure compliance with the Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's business, and undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

• Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing with strong technology knowledge and experience in e-Business, or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or E-Commerce with a keen business sense and ability to take the customer's viewpoint.
• A minimum of 10 years' relevant working experience in e-channels operations.
• Excellent project management skills and a strong interest in e-Business digital services.
• Experience in formulating and automating operation tasks with a decent plan.
• Ability to be energetic, creative, and persistent in achieving results.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Ability to work on shifts round the clock, including Sundays and public holidays.

• Experience in projects implementation and incident management.
• Knowledge or working experience in Agile Framework development, such as a Product Owner role.
• Knowledge or working experience in automation tools (e.g. UiPath) or programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript).
