Senior Level

Full time
Job description
About the Role
This role will grow Hudl's ticketing business and oversee its daily operations. It will define and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve goals across the Youth, Club & High School business unit. The position will unlock value by turning fan attention into revenue, from the tickets fans buy to the ads they see on Hudl's streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic roadmap for Hudl's ticketing market, prioritising opportunities based on fan reach, event volume and revenue potential to ensure value from investments.
- Manage the P&L for ticketing to meet financial goals, including creating pricing strategies, setting sales targets and building revenue forecasts across ticketing services.
- Shape the offer, pricing, packaging and value story for each type of customer, then turn it into a repeatable motion the broader sales organisation can run.
- Grow relationships with schools, clubs, leagues, governing bodies and partners, and lead negotiations to secure ticketing agreements and sales that reach more fans.
- Own implementation end to end so signed plans are delivered and customers realise the value promised, not just the strategy on paper.
- Mentor and train Hudlies, helping onboard and develop individuals across the broader team.
- Work with Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance to align everyone around the ticketing roadmap.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Five or more years of sales experience in the sports technology industry with a strong track record of high performance.
- Experience driving revenue growth, managing a P&L and expanding into new markets.
- Ability to manage internal alignment, guide teams toward critical goals and influence people to adopt new ways of working.
- Strong cross-functional problem-solving skills and the ability to build creative solutions when there is no clear precedent.
- Ability to translate complex data into practical, actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Hands-on experience negotiating contracts and building strategic partnerships with third parties.
Preferred Skills
- Ten or more years of relevant experience in the sports technology or ticketing industry.
- Existing strategic relationships with schools, clubs, leagues, governing bodies and partners.
- Experience across ticketing products.
Workplace
- This role is open to candidates based in Lincoln, NE.
- Requires three days in the office per week.
- Time spent collaborating with other teammates in-office will be an integral part of the work.
Salary
- Base salary range: $125,000–$175,000 USD.
- On-target earnings (OTE): $175,000–$220,000 USD.
- Total compensation will typically fall within the middle of the OTE band.
- Compensation decisions are based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with internal pay equity practices.
- Final compensation will depend on performance against quotas outlined in the Individual Sales Plan (ISP) upon hire.
- This role will also be eligible for a long-term incentive (LTI) award.
- Any bonuses awarded are based on individual and company performance and are paid at Hudl's discretion.
Benefits & Perks
- Flexible vacation time.
- Company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days.
- Remote work options.
- Professional development resources and opportunities to keep growing.
- Office spaces designed with employees in mind.
- Tech stack and hardware provided for office or remote work.
