Head of Technology Solutions

This senior leadership role leads the strategy, development and management of the Club's technology landscape, ensuring technology investment supports effective operations, commercial growth and the evolving needs of the organisation. It sits within the Technology team, which supports every area of the Club by providing the systems, infrastructure and innovation that help drive performance on and off the pitch. The post-holder works closely with Digital Product, Technology Operations and Data and Security teams, alongside strategic technology partners and suppliers, and leads, coaches and develops the technology solutions team.

• Lead the strategy, development and management of the Club's technology landscape, ensuring technology investment supports effective operations, commercial growth and the evolving needs of the organisation.
• Shape and deliver the technology roadmap, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve integration, reduce complexity and maximise the value of existing and future technology.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Club to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Oversee the technology lifecycle, from implementation and enhancement through to replacement and retirement.
• Lead the delivery of key projects and improvements, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and sustainable, with a clear focus on user experience, operational resilience and measurable business value.
• Manage strategic technology partners and suppliers, including supplier performance.
• Oversee budgets and investment in technology.
• Work closely with Digital Product, Technology Operations and Data and Security teams to ensure solutions align with the Club's wider technology strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop the technology solutions team, building internal capability and creating a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.

• Experienced technology leader with a strong background in technology solutions or enterprise systems.
• Experience overseeing business-critical applications and delivering technology change across complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, integrations and data flows.
• Ability to assess technology landscapes and develop clear, practical roadmaps for improvement.
• Experience delivering application implementations and transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ability to simplify systems, reduce complexity and improve value.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets, licensing, contracts and supplier performance.
• Ability to balance longer-term technology strategy with immediate operational priorities.
• Confident and collaborative leader with experience developing high-performing teams and managing competing priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders and translate complex technical considerations into clear, informed business decisions.

• Previous experience with Workday HR and Finance, CRM, ticketing, loyalty or rewards platforms in an event-driven organisation such as football, sport or entertainment.
