About the Role
This role develops impactful and scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences. It expands the possibilities of immersive environments to reflect Nike's design ethos and improve the consumer retail experience, leading creative concepts from ideation through project completion. The position partners with Global Retail Design leadership on seasonal vision, strategic and tactical direction, and design continuity, and collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure design feasibility and functional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop impactful and scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences.
- Expand the possibilities of immersive environments to build design solutions that reflect Nike's design ethos and improve the consumer retail experience.
- Develop creative concepts, illustrate ideas, and work hands-on to lead projects to completion.
- Support and partner with the Global Retail Design Sr. Creative Director and Design Director to lead seasonal vision, strategic and tactical direction, and design continuity.
- Lead a design process of clear ideation focused on colour, materiality, texture, spacing, proportion, scale, and use of the environment.
- Ensure project goals and priorities align with Nike retail brand and business strategies.
- Seek new and innovative ways to design consumer experiences through graphics, styling, photography, and digital mediums.
- Develop presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.
- Collaborate with peers, design counterparts, internal partners, and external partners to ensure design feasibility and functional needs are met.
- Drive education and inspiration by sharing knowledge and exposure to current and future trends influencing innovation of consumer experiences and technology.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or a design-related occupation.
- Spatial design.
