Business Analyst

CAA Portas is seeking a Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering client engagements, working closely with the senior team to deliver high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations. The role involves supporting consulting projects across the sporting landscape, from strategy and planning through to implementation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative, results-driven environment and contribute to transforming the world through sport.

• Conduct market research, benchmarking and data analysis across venues, events, leagues and federations, and synthesise the findings into clear insights.
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial and commercial models, such as venue feasibility, revenue forecasts and business cases.
• Draft sections of client reports and presentations in PowerPoint to a high standard.
• Contribute to team problem-solving and the development of recommendations.
• Help prepare and run stakeholder interviews, workshops and client meetings.
• Build productive day-to-day relationships with client team members.
• Support project planning and workstream management.
• Support business development, including proposals, credentials and market scans, and internal firm-building initiatives.

• Excellent academic record.
• Highly numerate, with strong quantitative and conceptual problem-solving ability.
• A genuine interest in sport, demonstrated through study, work, playing, coaching or volunteering.
• A clear passion for sports and physical activity.
• Self-directed, proactive and entrepreneurial.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.

• Previous experience in consulting and/or sports business is highly beneficial.
