Regulatory Fraud and Risk Specialist with Portuguese

Works in the Fraud and Risk team at Entain, whose overarching remit is fraud detection and prevention. It involves reviewing fraud and risk triggers, requesting and reviewing EDD, handling KYC, and ensuring relevant regulatory, fraud and GDPR requirements are strictly followed.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, fraud and GDPR requirements across all markets.
• Provide fraud, risk and KYC expertise to all teams, including AFC, CDD and Player Protection.
• Handle customer documents as part of the KYC and/or EDD risk prevention flow, provide expertise and collect examples for the Documents Library, and participate in SENs creation when translation and document clarification are needed.
• Perform overall reviews of accounts as part of registrations, deposit and withdrawal approvals and/or fraud prevention procedures.
• Analyse customer deposits and account categories to prevent fraud, correct errors and resolve problems.
• Investigate financial irregularities and risk issues relating to third-party processors, and check gaming history.
• Suggest improvements to procedures and systems in the interests of fraud prevention and customer care.
• Work with colleagues in other departments to resolve account-related issues and prevent fraud.
• Help maintain quality control and customer care through analysis of player contact.
• Liaise with players on account-related issues, resolving problems and ensuring high levels of customer care.

• Sound knowledge of different aspects of risk work, including online payments or financial services knowledge.
• Ability to identify subtle fraud and abuse patterns.
• Sound and demonstrable experience with fraud analysis and investigations.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese at a business level.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to perform well under tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Proven aptitude to work in a team.
• Strong logical reasoning skills with an analytical approach.

• Command of an additional language is a plus.
