Senior Software Engineer_GSE

We are looking for a senior engineer to join the Enablement team within Core Products and Experiences (CPE). The role involves building the libraries and product features that teams across FanDuel Technology rely on, making it easier for them to ship great experiences to fans. As a highly visible role with real impact across the organisation, the engineer will build across core client platforms such as Web, iOS and Android, and their technical decisions will help others build and ship reliably.

• Build the libraries and product features that teams across FanDuel Technology rely on.

• Build libraries and features across core client platforms, including Web, iOS and Android.
• Make technical decisions that help others across the organisation build and ship reliably.
• Contribute to the team's design, scoping and prioritisation discussions.
• Help the team provide solutions that make products better and enjoyed by more people.
• Lead smaller projects of work within the team.
• Coach and nurture other members of the team.
• Participate in the interview process.
• Help the team onboard and train Software Engineers.

• Empathetic communicator with a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Strong experience in one or more core client platforms: Web (JavaScript/TypeScript), iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
• Understanding of Agile software development.
• Focus on quality and testing in code.
• Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards.
• Ability to provide in-depth evaluation of multiple technical directions and determine tradeoffs of each.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies.
