Information Security Platform Engineer, ITC

This role uses extensive knowledge of international standards, industry best practices, professional experience, collaboration and good judgment to implement a business-focused information security strategic roadmap. It sits within a diverse, cross-functional team that collaborates globally with stakeholders ranging from service desk technicians to system architects, developers and lawyers. The team is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining network security technology roadmaps that provide an effective security framework, allowing Nike to move rapidly but securely into new business enabling technologies.

• Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of security controls that protect Nike's systems and data, with a primary focus on web proxy products and endpoint security.
• Assess, analyse, and optimise operational tasks, functions, documentation and processes, including through close partnership with Cyber Defence, Enterprise Cyber Security Consulting, Data Protection, Windows Client/Server Platform and Cloud Security/Automation teams.
• Provide technical and tactical expertise to a 24x7 team (Follow the sun model) during India business hours.
• Provide support to Sev1 and Sev2 incidents as part of on-call responsibility to dedicated security engineers, focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk.
• Administer and maintain endpoint security controls.
• Maintain proper saturation of endpoint security controls, including versions, scoping and exclusions.
• Document knowledge base articles, how-to guides, policies and procedures.

• Strong problem-solving skills in two or more of the listed capabilities/toolsets, with the ability to determine root cause and provide relevant solutions.
• Strong work experience in endpoint security products or VPN solutions, with an understanding of networking concepts and knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint and VPN related incidents.
• Operational mindset, with willingness to adapt to ad-hoc changes to evening or weekend plans.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and act as the driving force ensuring completion and on-time delivery.
• Experience with cloud, automation and scripting as delivery methods.
• Comfort with change and ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adjusted to the audience up, down and across the organisation.

• Formal education or work experience similar to a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering, or a related field of study.
• Ability to balance security risk against the needs of the business and excel in a highly-matrixed, organised-chaos environment.

• Industry certifications relevant to the role, such as web proxy certifications or endpoint certifications, are an added advantage.
