Sr Analyst FP&A

The Senior Financial Analyst – Central Finance & Business Analytics is responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting and analysis for Warner Bros. Discovery Studios, working with business finance counterparts to gather inputs and understand drivers. The role develops deep competencies in this area, providing business and finance stakeholders with the required information for decision making.

• Manage FP&A analysis with global scope and financial data requests as needed, generating insights for business partners.
• Work with Sisco to deliver timely and accurate insights into budget, forecast and actuals reporting.
• Provide proactive business partner support for TV content global.
• Prepare preliminary forecasts for studio meetings and month-end reporting cost analysis.
• Reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year and provide variance analysis to explain performance.
• Work with studio FP&A to develop budgets and long-range plans and evaluate the financial impact of potential strategy decisions.
• Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability to deliver superior quality financial information on a timely basis to business FP&A.
• Build strong relationships with business partners and FP&A teams to enable the flow of information and knowledge sharing.
• Support development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis, and drive process simplification initiatives.
• Collaborate across boundaries, share best practices with other FP&A teams, and participate in meetings with business finance partners to understand forecast drivers and present prepared forecast and analysis data.

• At least 4 years' experience in forecasting and analysis.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.
• Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions.
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners.
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
• Motivated by challenging, high-energy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Data Science is required.

• Solid understanding of the entertainment business is preferred.
• Passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.
• Knowledge of programming (Python, script development) is a plus.
• Experience with real-business projects involving large data analysis, machine learning tools, AI (e.g., Copilot) and predictive modelling.
• Data visualisation and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, and SAP4 (AO, SmartView) are a plus.
