About the Role
Develops robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business and owns projects end-to-end from conception to operationalisation, with an understanding of the full software development lifecycle. It provides technical vision and guidance to teammates and works with the AI/ML team across Portland, Boston, and Poland as part of a global organisation solving machine learning problems at scale. The role designs and implements scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimisation programs to deliver data-driven decisions with business impact, and contributes to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business.
- Own projects end-to-end from conception to operationalisation, demonstrating an understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical vision and guidance to teammates.
- Collaborate with the AI/ML team across Portland, Boston, and Poland as part of a global organisation solving machine learning problems at scale.
- Design and implement scalable applications that leverage prediction models and optimisation programs to deliver data-driven decisions with business impact.
- Contribute to core advanced analytics and machine learning platforms and tools to enable prediction and optimisation model development.
- Develop and share new skills, mentor colleagues, and contribute knowledge and software back to the analytics and engineering communities within the organisation and at large.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Two years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
- Python.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Machine learning / MLOps.
- Docker.
- CI/CD (Jenkins).
- SQL and ETL pipelines.
- Data structures, data modelling, and software architecture.
- Apache Spark.
- Kubernetes.
- Databricks.
- Terraform.
- Database technologies (Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
