Sales Consultant

This role joins the Acquisitions team and plays a part in meeting monthly membership goals for sales and growth, with a focus on data and revenue. It acts as a point of contact for members, elevating their experience at every touchpoint and helping to create a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the club. The role takes ownership of membership targets, supports retention and growth, and provides advice on Exercise Experience and products offered by the club.

• Act as the point of contact for members, elevating their member experience at every touchpoint and addressing member inquiries with meticulous standards of administration and support.
• Create a presence and a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the club, from acting as Front of House to providing new member visits.
• Take ownership of membership targets, striving for excellence in sales, retention, and growth every month.
• Ensure all activity targets are met to achieve desired net growth.
• Tailor membership offerings to meet individual needs and expand corporate memberships to prospects within the immediate locality of the club.
• Provide advice on all activities related to Exercise Experience and products offered by Virgin Active.
• Support the smooth operation of the club and consistently provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Take on the responsibilities of the Duty Shift as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the needs of the business and leading by example in all aspects of club management.

• Strong interpersonal skills that make the candidate approachable to members, prospects, and colleagues.
• Good communication skills.

• Previous experience of working in a customer centric, target driven role (desirable but not essential).

• 40 hours per week
