Senior IC Auditor

Is an opportunity to join Flutter's Internal Controls Team in the new Shared Capability Centre in Hyderabad. The team is a key part of the governance framework and an important component of the second line of defence, responsible for promoting high standards of internal controls, reducing financial risk, delivering the annual internal controls testing plan, and providing guidance on robust controls. The role involves providing an independent opinion on the design adequacy of the control framework and objective assurance that controls are operating as expected.

• Plan, prepare and complete the assigned Internal Controls plan in accordance with defined quality standards and deadlines.
• Identify, and where applicable, help implement Internal Controls.
• Set and promote high standards of work and ensure high standard quality documentation and test scripts are delivered on a consistent and timely basis.
• Communicate and report deficiency findings to management.
• Monitor management's responses and implementation of agreed remediation plans.
• Ensure effective business changes are introduced as a result of deficiency findings.
• Continuously communicate with Internal Controls Senior Management on progress to plan.
• Liaise with external auditors as required.
• Work with the Head of Internal Controls, internal controls colleagues and Finance / Business Heads to improve internal control.
• Build strong professional relationships with peers and management in the business.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong academic record with degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years working in a similar environment with a proven track record in internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles and standards.
• Ability to identify issues and associated risks, and provide practical solutions to a wide range of Internal Controls issues.
• Experience of working with controls including implementation and monitoring whilst reporting any assurance performance to stakeholders.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills and adept at working across time zones and cultures in a SCC.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to work on own initiative.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environment.
• Great team player.
• Ability to influence change at all levels of management.
• Ability to develop and establish strong positive working relationships with the business.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.

• Knowledge and experience of SOX type controls is preferable, but not essential.
• Experience working in a shared capability centre (SCC) function for a major multinational company is preferred.
• Experience in the sports betting industry would be a distinct advantage.

• Role may require travel up to a maximum of 10%.
