EA SPORTS FC Social & Community Intern

The Marketing team builds content, culture, and community around EA's brands, empowering audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across franchises including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. As part of the EA SPORTS FC Integrated Communications Team, the FC Social and Community Teams maintain direct dialogue with players and fans and bring community voice into day-to-day work. The intern will support the Social and Community teams in engaging communities, translating feedback into actionable recommendations for development partners, and helping to define content and tone, maintain engagement, manage social channels, and report on community feedback and content performance.

• Support social media and community campaigns across major channels in line with brand voice.
• Engage across community channels such as Discord to foster two-way dialogue.
• Support the compilation of weekly community sentiment reports using social listening tools and qualitative feedback.
• Track social media performance metrics and recommend activations that increase social engagement.
• Assist in coordinating community council sessions and organising player feedback.
• Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices for future activations.
• Partner with internal teams such as brand marketing, community, PR, legal, and development to build integrated social campaigns.

• Currently studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's degree with a planned placement year, and not a Master's or graduate student.
• Available to commence a full-time, 12-month placement in July 2027.
• Eligible to work in Guildford, UK without additional visa or relocation support.
• A passionate fan of EA SPORTS FC with an understanding of the community's wants and needs.
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Twitch, and appropriate metrics of success.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail, grammar, and tone.
• Basic content creation skills such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

• Hybrid work model with a minimum of three days a week onsite.
