About the Role

The post sits within an international performance environment and works closely with riders, coaches, medical staff, sports directors, logistics, performance chefs and the wider performance team. It carries ownership of the nutrition domain, builds trusted relationships with riders, and contributes to developing a benchmark performance nutrition programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, monitor and continuously adapt individual nutrition strategies based on performance goals, athlete-monitoring data and rider feedback, covering fuelling, hydration, recovery, body composition, gastrointestinal tolerance, training adaptation, energy availability, health and supplementation.
- Independently manage nutrition delivery at assigned WorldTour races and training camps, including Grand Tours, altitude camps and challenging environmental conditions, from preparation and execution to follow-up.
- Work closely with performance chefs and mobile kitchen staff to translate riders' nutritional requirements and energy demands into consistent, high-quality food delivery.
- Ensure scientific recommendations become practical, accessible and race-ready solutions.
- Manage individual on-bike fuelling and hydration strategies across different race formats, training demands and environmental conditions.
- Use monitoring data and rider feedback to continuously evaluate and adjust fuelling and hydration plans.
- Ensure sports nutrition products and supplements comply with internal protocols, anti-doping risk-management standards and quality-assurance processes.
- Coordinate nutrition-related testing, including sweat and hydration assessments, FatMax testing and other field-based evaluations.
- Deliver practical nutrition education, identify potential concerns early and contribute to the continuous development of the nutrition programme across the WorldTour and selected U23 and U19 development squads.
Required Experience & Qualifications

- Excellent English skills.
- Proven experience delivering and independently managing nutrition support in elite sport.

- Knowledge of supplement governance, anti-doping risk management and quality-assurance processes.
- Experience with nutrition-management and athlete-monitoring systems.
- Ability to translate scientific evidence and athlete requirements into clear, practical and race-ready solutions.
- Proactive, accountable and rider-centred approach, combined with strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm and adaptable under pressure.
- Willingness to undertake regular international travel to races and training camps.
