Job description
About the Role
Supports the operation of sports betting events by monitoring automated event creation and publication, maintaining the live sports event schedule and overseeing results processing and bet settlement. It works with the Live Trading team on scheduling and collaborates with Trading, Risk and IT teams to resolve operational issues. The position also checks sportsbook content and services across web, mobile and retail channels and supports Customer Service and other operational teams with related enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor automated event creation and publication processes, creating or publishing events manually when required.
- Prepare and maintain the live sports event schedule in collaboration with the Live Trading team.
- Oversee automated results processing and bet settlement, manually processing results and making necessary corrections using official sources.
- Check the availability and accuracy of event dates and times, streaming coverage, scoreboards and statistics across web, mobile and retail channels.
- Analyse operational issues and collaborate with Trading, Risk and IT teams to support their resolution.
- Assist Customer Service and other operational teams with enquiries relating to sports events, results, bet settlement and refunds.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong sports knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
- Required languages: French / English or Dutch / English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the sports betting industry is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in operational systems and Excel is considered an asset.
Workplace
- Full-time contract (38 hours/week).
